A Winter Day Serving Western New York’s Energy Needs
6:00 AM – Rise and Shine
The day begins early when you’re part of the NOCO team. As I grab my insulated coveralls and safety gear, I check the day’s service schedule on my tablet. With temperatures dropping below freezing in Buffalo, we’re expecting a busy day of HVAC service calls.
7:30 AM – First Call
Our first stop is in Tonawanda, where a customer needs their heating system inspected. These preventive maintenance visits are crucial during Western New York winters. While checking the furnace, I explain to the homeowner how regular maintenance can extend equipment life and improve efficiency.
10:00 AM – Propane Delivery
Heading to Lockport for a scheduled propane delivery. Our modern delivery trucks make it possible to safely transport and transfer propane to both residential and commercial storage tanks. Safety protocols are always our top priority during these operations.
12:30 PM – Emergency Call
During lunch, we get an urgent call from Syracuse – a commercial client’s heating system has failed. This is when our extensive service network proves invaluable, allowing us to respond quickly across our service area.
3:00 PM – Training Session
Back at the office for a team meeting about new HVAC technology. NOCO ensures we stay current with industry developments and safety standards. Today’s focus is on energy-efficient heating solutions.
5:00 PM – Wrap Up
The day ends with paperwork and preparing for tomorrow. Our service area spans multiple cities, so organization is key. Before heading home, I check my schedule for tomorrow’s appointments in Jamestown.
